Loose Fill Insulation Cover

The LFIC (loose fill insulation cover) consists of 80 sq. ft. (8 x 10 ft) of breathable synthetic fabric. The fabric is meant to be placed on top of insulation such as blown-in cellulose or chopped fiberglass that could be disrupted by a whole house fan.

Typically not required unless the fan discharge is located close to the loose insulation.
