Bigger is better

We always recommend the largest unit your space and budget will allow. Here’s why: a larger fan moves more air at a lower RPM, which is quieter AND more energy efficient at the same time. Learn more

A bit early early, but looking forward to sprint

We were able to install and test the fan this winter. The install of the fan itself was relatively easy and testing was even easier. My biggest issue is really with the attic space and discovery that the previous owner installed a larger fan by cutting the rafter tie. This caused a bit more prep work than I expected. However it is not the fault of Airscape. With our test we found A LOT more airflow on the higher (7-10) settings than our previous larger fan provided. The fan was also substantially quieter at the high speeds, even standing directly under the opening.

If there was anything I think would make this better it would be the following two items:
1) Providing a more rigid frame for the opening. This isn't hyper critical, but you do need to be careful as mounting up through the ceiling can cause the frame to flex and come out of square pretty easily. Again, being gentle and patient works too, the rigidity would just make install a little easier.
2) Including actual pictures in the instructions or include product-specific videos online. It took a bit to connect some of the electrical components as I was searching for cables already connected. Again, not hyper critical as I figured it out, but it would make it a touch easier.

Overall I am happier with this purchase than I thought I would be. I cannot wait for warmer weather to try it out and have all-night airflow.
